Creating connection through creativity and movement
Creativity and movement are essential tools to a balanced life. I love my work and the transformative potential to heal ourselves. I believe in health for mental health, and offer approaches that create connection and stability.
I have been working and volunteering in mental health and local non-profits in the Norman area since 1985. I have been a Licensed Professional Counselor and Registered Art Therapist since 2001 working in education, private practice, and non-profit organizations serving individuals 4-80 years of age. I am also an Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (500), teaching since 2008. Art and somatic or physical approaches are effective mindful strategies helpful to improve quality of life, regulate emotions, and cultivate space for creative problem-solving. I work with individuals and groups through therapy and workshops.
